    Stefani Giacomelli is an environmental scientist with a strong academic background in marine and environmental management. She holds a B.Sc. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Environmental Management (M.E.M.) from the University of New Brunswick.
Her master’s research, conducted in collaboration with the Fundy North Fishermen’s Association and local fishers, investigated surface current movements in the Bay of Fundy to enhance contamination spill management and mitigation strategies.
Stefani brings over three years of diverse experience working with non-governmental organizations, provincial government, and environmental consulting firms. She supports all phases of permitting and regulatory projects, contributing her expertise in technical and scientific report writing, data analysis, and permit application preparation for both federal and provincial review processes.
At Dynamic Ocean Consulting, Stefani has led and supported baseline and monitoring programs for projects across British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. A certified diver for over nine years, she integrates her field experience with her regulatory and analytical skills to deliver comprehensive environmental assessments and permitting support.
Stefani is a member in good standing with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB), holding her P.Biol. designation.
