    Dynamic Ocean Consulting offers Oxygen Therapy Training through the Divers Alert Network (DAN) — an internationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to diver safety and emergency preparedness.
This course meets the WorkSafe BC and CSA Z275.5 requirements for occupational and CAUS professional diving personnel, and is mandatory for all divers and top-side support staff. It provides essential knowledge and hands-on skills for administering oxygen in diving-related emergencies.
Training is available for:
- DCBC Commercial Divers 
- CAUS Scientific Divers, Dive Tenders, and Supervisors 
- Recreational Divers and Non-Diving Support Personnel 
Course Format
The DAN Oxygen Provider Course is delivered in person with a mandatory practical component. Participants must complete an online theory module prior to the hands-on training session.
What You’ll Learn
- Atmospheric gases and respiration 
- Circulation and decompression illness 
- Oxygen use in diving injuries 
- Oxygen handling and safety principles 
Skills You’ll Develop
- Identification, assembly, and disassembly of oxygen delivery systems 
- Scene safety and initial patient assessment 
- Use of demand inhalator valve, non-rebreather mask, and bag-valve mask 
- Use of manually triggered ventilator (MTV) 
- Development of an emergency assistance plan

- Course Fee: $250 (Occupational) | $150 (CAUS-affiliated institutions) 
- Format: Online theory + in-person practical
