DIVE ACCIDENT MANAGEMENT

Dive Accident Management (DAM) training is an essential course for all occupational divers and top-side support personnel working under a certified diving program. The Dynamic Ocean Consulting DAM program fully meets WorkSafe BC requirements and is delivered in compliance with the CSA Z275 Occupational Diving Standard.

Currently available online for flexible learning, this course can also be customized for in-person training, including scenario-based sessions for dive teams and organizations.

What You’ll Learn

Our comprehensive DAM curriculum covers the full range of emergency and safety topics required for professional dive operations:

  • Dive physiology and dive medicine

  • Dive physics and decompression theory

  • DCIEM and US Navy diving tables

  • Emergency procedures and response

  • Dive accident management and prevention

  • Applicable diving regulations and standards

Optional In-Water Scenario Training

For custom group sessions, Dynamic Ocean offers an in-water practical component, including:

  • Diver emergency extrications

  • Self-rescue techniques

  • Throw bag and surface rescue exercises
