Kiran Saggar, MsC. Marine Conservation

Kiran Saggar is a marine biologist with a strong academic and research background in marine conservation and ecosystem science. She holds a B.Sc. in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University and an M.Sc. in Marine Conservation from the University of Auckland, where her master’s research examined sediment carbon consumption across seagrass patch boundaries, contributing valuable insights into coastal carbon cycling and ecosystem functionality.

Kiran’s academic training and hands-on experience in estuarine and coastal environments have provided her with a solid foundation in field sampling, data analysis, and environmental reporting. Her multidisciplinary perspective enables her to interpret complex ecological data and translate it into practical environmental management strategies.

At Dynamic Ocean Consulting, Kiran applies her expertise in marine ecology and conservation science to support projects focused on sustainable coastal management, habitat assessment, and environmental monitoring. She is dedicated to advancing ocean stewardship and promoting sustainable practices within Canada’s marine environments.
