Kiran Saggar is a marine biologist with a strong academic and research background in marine conservation and ecosystem science. She holds a B.Sc. in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University and an M.Sc. in Marine Conservation from the University of Auckland, where her master’s research examined sediment carbon consumption across seagrass patch boundaries, contributing valuable insights into coastal carbon cycling and ecosystem functionality.

Kiran’s academic training and hands-on experience in estuarine and coastal environments have provided her with a solid foundation in field sampling, data analysis, and environmental reporting.
