Danielle MacRae M.Sc.

Danielle is an environmental biologist with eight years of experience studying the intricate dynamics of both freshwater and marine aquatic ecosystems across Canada. She completed her Master of Science (MSc) at Concordia University where she studied how trophic cascades impact Atlantic groundfish dispersal. She has experience working with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and First Nations fisheries, contributing to long term population monitoring and data management. 

Danielle has a keen interest in ecology, ecosystem interactions, and marine biology. She has accumulated skills in sample collection, data analysis, hydrophone and multibeam operations, and technical writing. Through her academic and professional career, Danielle has developed a comprehensive understanding of biological interactions and attention to detail.
