    Cameron Knight has worked in the marine environment for over two decades, bringing a unique combination of technical, operational, and safety expertise to Dynamic Ocean Consulting Ltd.
He leads the company’s equipment specialist and diving operations portfolio, providing advanced technical support across nearshore, offshore, and Arctic projects.
Professional Background
Cameron is an experienced Class II ROV operator, Side Scan and Multibeam SONAR operator, and hydrophone technician with extensive field experience in complex marine environments.
 As Dynamic Ocean’s Diving Safety Officer (DSO), he ensures all underwater operations meet or exceed Worksafe BC, and CSA diving standards.

Arctic and National Project Experience
Over the past decade, Cameron has supported large-scale marine infrastructure and environmental monitoring programs across Canada’s High Arctic, delivering technical, diving, and acoustic data collection services. His ability to integrate technical precision with operational awareness makes him a key leader in Dynamic Ocean’s project execution.
Public Service and Safety Leadership
Beyond consulting, Cameron has served more than 25 years with the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG Station Sea Island – Hovercraft Unit) as a Rescue Specialist and Diving Safety Officer.
 He led the Coast Guard’s Public Safety Dive Team and instructed DCBC-certified diving programs, training personnel in occupational and surface-supply operations.
From 2004 to 2023, Cameron also conducted diving fatality investigations for the BC Coroners Service, preparing detailed technical reports to support coroner findings.
 In addition, he served for seven years as a Community Coroner for the BC Coroners Service in Metro Vancouver, investigating complex cases and contributing to provincial safety reviews.
Cameron’s extensive public-service record reflects a lifelong commitment to safety, accountability, and professional standards across Canada’s marine and occupational-diving communities.
