Emily is a DCBC accredited Occupational Scuba Diver, PADI Instructor, Aquarium Diver and an avid ambassador for the marine world. Having joined the recreational scuba diving world 10 years ago, she fell in love with the Pacific Northwest marine life and worked her way to her instructor rating. Her love of cold water diving and the unique ecosystems and marine life found in the BC waters has helped her develop the growing scuba diving community within the lower mainland. Her diving career diversified when she took up a presentation diver position with the Vancouver Aquarium where she helped educate youth on marine life and protecting oceans through various educational programs. 

Emily graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a BA in History and Film and also holds her Project Management Certificate from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Having developed project management skills throughout her tenure as an Assistant Director on various television series in the film industry, she is able to apply her skills to be further involved in marine conservation, research and awareness as a Project Manager.
